호텔 아이보리 (Hotel Ivory)
가성비는 좋음.
사대문 안에 이가격으로 하루 잘수있는 호텔 유일함. 가성비 좋음.
그런데 전 입실자의 문제인지 청소문제인지 아님 창문이 없어서 그런지 땀냄새가 무지많이 났음. 위생상태는 좋은듯한데 냄새가 안빠져있어서 무지 힘들었음.
그것 제외하면 만족함.

가성비가 좋은 만큼 조금 어수선하고, 밖에 빨래를 널어놓고, 대충 물만 묻혀 닦으이 냄새가 조금 나고
창문이 불편해요
들어가는 입구 연결이 조금 복잡한 점이 있지만 지하철이 가까웠던 점이 그래도 괜찮아요

The bathroom was a bit see through.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was very good. There was AC in the room, strong WiFi. Had facilities like laundry room and kitchen. New towels provided daily.

Nothing to do with the hotel really, but a bigger room always helps!
Loved the location, close to the metro, but also to atmospheric alleys, eating houses and coffee shops. Appreciated the white and blue paint scheme and decor in general. Loved the washing machine and clothes airers for drying. I liked that we could ‘self-serve’ towels and cleaning, that the hotel was trying to do the right thing with recycling. Unfortunately many of the guests were lazy or ignorant. Perhaps the bins could be differentiated more, eg. with coloured labels.

명동과 남대문 대학로와 인사동 ,익선동 나들이를 위해 투숙했어요.
충무로역 바로 코앞에 위치해 있어서 다니기 편리했고, 직원 두분과 대화했는데 두분다 굉장히 친절하고 마음을 다해 응대해주셔서 단점이 있어도 즐겁게 지냈습니다.
최대 단점이 매트리스에요. 스프링매트리스여서 움직일때마다 ‘ 팅팅~ 끼긱! 끄그덕~ ‘이런 느낌의 소리가 나서 숙면이 어렵고 매트리스가 딱딱해서 개인적으로 많이 힘들었어요.
객실은 상당히 비좁은 편이나 이건 가격대비 불만사항은 아니에요.
9층 아이보리로 예약했는데 8 층을 배정해 주는걸보니 8,9,10층 다 한 호텔의 개념인것 같습니다.
총평: 명동 , 종로 인사동 익선동, 대학로 , 서울역 남대문, 동대문쪽 관광이 목적인 젊은분들중 버짓숙소로 추천
Very good
Bed was really firm. See thru bathrooms. There’s a washing machine but no dryer so would need to hang the clothes and dry at the common area which is a bit of a hassle as other guests would pass by and see all your stuff. but overall okay for the price. I would still recommend this place

Would only recommend for few days on a budget.
Room is a bit small, and the window is small too. Also you can not open the window fully, only a little bit.
The bed was super hard, I found it difficult to sleep on. But my boyfriend liked it, he found the pillow too hard though.
We stayed for a week, I would not recommend to stay that long there, maybe few days. But if you are on a budget then it is ok

Very good for a short stay in the city.
Room was adequat, but there is a foul smell from the plummings in the bathroom.
The lokation is great, the major sites in town is within walkingdistance.
Nice staff, the manager helped me with some bookings.

Great location, 2 min walk from 2 metro stations, most sites to see in walking distance. Rooms are small but comfortable and has everything you may need. In common area there are tea maker, microwave and iron desk. And big plus for people who travel they have big scale for luggage. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Definitely value of money.

The pillows were to inflated I couldn’t not rest properly with my neck a bit twisted.
The room.was big enough and clean. Rhe staff can assit you on anything and there English was very good! It was nice chatting with friendly Koreans.

Disappointing
Bed hurts my back.
No kettle in each room.
No cups in the room.
Other guest houses, similar small hotels in Seoul don’t charge for using the washing machine.
No window.
I found a bag of chips just between the bed ( head bed side) and the wall, quite visible, not hidden at all, so not sure the room was well cleaned…
The worst is the walls are not sound proof! Besides hearing everything from neighbors, there was 1 night there were guests yelling to each other, and kids screaming, past midnight, I texted the management but not even a text back from them!
The staff is friendly, answers to my questions when in person ( besides not responding to my enqiries on Booking.com at all for the whole week before I arrived, and some of my texts through WhatsApp when i was staying there)!

Things to consider
Location is perfect — not that crowded. But still close to Myeongdong. Free coffee tea and water. Has laundry for free. Ironing board and iron. Staff is accommodating
Cons: BED was HARD. If I had another choice I will not book again. No housekeeping as well.

J’ai eu une chambre plus grande de ce que j’avais réservé, car il y avait un problème dans celle ci donc très cool, L’hôtel est tres bien situé et j’ai aimé le fer et la table à repasser, c’est la première fois que j’en voyais durant mon voyage, c’était tres utile 🙂

Staff are accommodating, location is perfect. Not so crowded but not too far from Myeongdong. Free water, tea and coffee.
Cons: Bed was SO hard. Gave us stiff neck and sore backs. No housekeeping. The towels were hand towel nothing else.

Great location
Close to subway and bus stations (inclusing airport limo station). The room is small but you can comfortably rest after a long day of going around. There are fastfood chains and convenience store nearby.

A convenient and affortable choice!
The location of the hotel is very convenient, it is just 2 mins away from EXIT 7 (with elevator) of Chungmuro station! To get to the hotel, you need to go down the staircase. If you have lots of luggage, you can walk staight from the elevator for abt 50m, and turn right to a slop, then turn right again and you’ll see the the hotel. But this route is quite dark at night, so it is better to use the normal route at night. Aside from the subway station, the bus station is very near to the hotel too, so getting around the city is extremely convenient!
There are also shops, a few convenient store and restaurants nearby the hotel, so it is very convenient. Namsamgol Hanok Village is just a the road across the hotel, with less than 8 mins walking distance.
The room is clean and looks new, even though not very spacious, just like a lot of other hotels in Seoul. However, the hotel did not provide housekeeping service. You need to throw your towel at the basket provided at the common area of each floor and get a new towel from the 10th floor. You also need to throw your own rubbish to the big rubbish bin at the common area and get a new rubbish bag there too. The toothbrush, toothpaste, tea, water, and soap are available at the common area too. Hairdryer is provided. We are allowed to leave our luggage there before the check in time.
Overall it is quite good, but one thing that I am not satiesfied abt the hotel is the soundproof. I can hear the sound of the people from the room beside us VERY CLEARLY. Can even hear them flushing the toilet and using the hair dryer…… Thank God however, I am the person that fall asleep within seconds, so it does not bother me that much. But do think twice before you book. Still very woth it for the price, the cleanliness and the location.

Perfect for the price
Stayed for 10 days, no complaints, staff was friendly and let me check in a bit earlier and let me leave my bags while i roamed after checkout. Washing machine, weighing scale, microwave, and hot/cold water in the common area. Will stay here again for sure

８～10階のホテル受付は一括して10階にある。受付は多言語翻訳機で対応。各階に共同のレンジ･湯沸し器･アイロン･冷水器･コーヒーパックがあり便利。３泊中ベッドメイクは無いが毎日のタオル交換は可。忠武路地下鉄駅まで100mだが奥まっているので最初は見つけ難い。現地ツアーのホテルピックアップを依頼するとこの地下鉄駅前も集合場所となり好都合。周辺は食堂・コンビニ等もある準繁華街。空いていたためか１ランク上の部屋を差額無しで提供してくれたスタッフに感謝。比較的低額料金なのに価格以上の価値あり。難点を言えばシャワールームが狭い、隣客が煩いと音が聞こえることもある。
Pretty okay place.
Wat mij alleen wel tegenviel, is dat het bed niet zo comfortabel was. Het was best hard. En het was ook jammer dat er geen gordijnen hingen voor het raam.
Locatie was zeer fijn, je zat vlak naast een metrostation waardoor je makkelijk naar andere plekken kon gaan.
Myeongdong was ook op loop afstand, max 15 min. Ik had ook een prima uitzicht vanuit mijn kamertje.

Value for Money
At first we were a bit confused because we thought the whole building was the hotel. Apparently it’s only level 8, 9 and 10, and the lobby i at level 10 regardless you booked Ivory, Blue or Gold. The room was clean and we got the Namsan Tower view, which made our trip more memorable. Counter staff spoke good English and very friendly. We love that an iron and ironing board was provided in the common area. The bed was hard but it is for what it’s worth. We always walk from Myeongdong back to the hotel. Overall, good hotel.

住的樓層高所以不太有外面吵雜的聲音，但是隔音不太好，隔壁房的鬧鐘或樓上移動的聲音是聽的到的。如果同時間很多人洗浴熱水會不夠熱。整體來說還是好的入住經驗
員工非常親切中文溝通也可以。離忠武路站非常近步行約1分鐘，有電梯搭乘。地點適中離廣藏市場、明洞、乙支路、東大門都不遠

I highly recommend this place. Location is close to Myeongdong but away from the hustle and bustle. It’s also really close to Namsango Hanok Village. The hotel is clean and the staff is really kind and speaks fluent English. They have amenities like towel, soap, dental hygiene. Airconditioning is perfect since I stayed during the summer.
