From its location to our spacious room to its cleanliness to very warm & accommodating owners and staff, my family a None! Everything about it!

Do not miss out on this! Lovely vacation home in Myeongdong! Nothing. Everything was good. Just prepare for a bit of a walk with your luggage. Otherwise it is all good. Everything! Location is very close to the shopping area but in a quiet street, hosts are very responsive and friendly, all rooms, kitchen, garden are sparkling clean, bed is comfortable, water pressure in shower is strong, aircon is cold. I will stay here again and recommend to others!

Thoughtful staff, amazing location, and very clean room. The location of Slow Vibe is hard to beat. It’s centrally located yet tucked into a quiet area. Short walk to Namsan Tower cable car, convenience stores, coffee shops, bus stops and subway. The room we booked is decent sized with comfy beds and clean sheets. Everything else gets meticulously cleaned everyday.

Exceptional The only inconvenient thing that there was only one hanger/hook in the room. It was a great stay! We really enjoyed being there.

It seemed very expensive. Booked a room with bathroom but there was no bathroom. Room smells of mold. When using the bathroom and toilet, you have to use another room. I offered to cancel my reservation but they insisted that the room had a bathroom and would not cancel it. Very one-sided and unpleasant. The lobby is filthy with dogs that come and go outside and freely. It seemed very expensive.

Pleasant and comfortable stay with great hosts and prime location for a reasonable price! The shared bathrooms in the hall on the second floor had light switches outside which made it inconvenient when someone would turn your light off thinking it was theirs. This is very minor, but just want to point out one of the light switches had an arrow facing the wrong way when it should be the opposite bathroom that it turns on/off for. The other thing I didn’t like was needing an adapter to plug into the wall to charge electronics – but this is just something to know for being in South Korea and Jay kindly loaned us the adapter for free! Such a gem and great find! First, Jay and Yoonie were kind and accommodating hosts who greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew how to get around! Yoonie especially helped my family and I book a taxi for an early morning flight when the train wasn’t an option and we couldn’t call ourselves – thank you again Yoonie! They also let us check in a little earlier 🙂 And in addition to other amenities and toiletries, they provided free vanilla latte packets which was a generous touch to have free coffee in the mornings! Next, the room and bathrooms were clean and nice and well stocked. We stayed in a nice-sized quadruple room with two beds and shared the bathrooms down the hall, which was exactly as said. The bathrooms were cool all-in-one in that it was a good size for having the toilet, sink and showers on the same floor. Last, the location was great and perfect for being just right across from Myeongdong markets and easy to walk to downtown. Overall, Slow Vibe was such a fantastic find for all these things and the price!

Wonderful Great location

Pleasant the key codes ping and they are noisy. This is a problem for those whose rooms are by the door. Maybe there is a way to have the doors have a code without the noise since it wakes people up. The kitchen is next to rooms. There are no signs to tell people to not dine and socialize after certain hours. People were dining after midnight without consideration of the noise. Usually there are rules for shared spaces. This has been my experience in other wonderful hotels that are similar Nice location. Decent price. Easy to find. Clean. Staff not present but responsive. Good internet. Nice kitchen with coffee. Separate bathroom for men and women. Nice courtyard. Safe. Blowdryer provided. Korean instant coffee provided.

We’re glad we chose this place! The location is great. Near subway station & bus stop. Just across the main night market of myeongdong. Thanks to Jae and Yoonie for always making sure the place is kept clean everyday and basic supplies are available. We’re so happy we chose Slow Vibe Myeongdong among the other hotels online.

Worth to stay 1. I got the room 1 which just beside the entrance and kitchen, may find it bit noisy with the entrance digital lock’s and kitchen when people moving in and out 2. There is only one plug point in the room 1. Everyone keep the facility and kitchen in a clean and perfect situation 2. Jay are very welcome to explain the facility, room and answer my question soon possible 3. There is water purifier which really helpfull for hot summer 4. The room showed as display 5. The location is just nearby the bus and train station, surrounding with food, and the Myeong Dong street just in opposite way

fine option ig room right next to the entrance (could hear everyone each time people came) – no socket near the bed except for one on the ceiling? – the only window in the room was facing the entrance and could not be opened the location – very close to the metro station and centre – personnel – chatty, friendly and kind + also fluent in english – beautiful kitchen – a garden to sit in – locks on passcodes and not keys –

Great place to stay in Myeongdong There could be more more place for personal belongings in the room like one more table or a dresser. Not a minus because I knew there was no place to store stuff from the start. I liked that there were hangers but since it’s 4 people in the room it would be great to have more hanging bars an probably more hangers as well. No washing machine at the property but I knew this from the start as well. There’s a coin laundry nearby. I felt safe and comfy here. The whole place is bright and properly cleaned every day so shared bathrooms were always clean which was one of the most important features for me. Towels were changed every 2 days. The room for 4 people was exactly as at the picture. I slept very well each night thanks to comfortable beds. I liked full-length mirror and hairdryer available at the room. There was water purifier and all kinds of kitchenware at the kitchen. It’s really easy to check-in (the host sends a code for a key pad at the entrance door) and I liked that there’s key pad at the room door which is really convenient: no keys to lose. I stayed with 3 friends, they confirm that they are impressed with how good this place is and told me to leave the greatest review I can 😀 The hosts are kind people who even helped me to get to the hospital when I had a little accident. This is a great place to stay in Myeongdong. I had the most wonderful experience in Seoul and staying here was part of it.

One of my best experiences Room was smaller than I expected but had exactly what I needed so I can’t truly complain Jay and Yoonie are so incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was super comfy and the shared space was awesome, very comfortable for late evening dinner and the early raisers.

OYO 호스텔 명동5 (OYO Hostel Myeongdong5)

외국인 진심 시끄러움 진짜 제가 웬만한 게스트하우스 도미토리 다 이용해봤거든요? 어떤 도미토리던 늘 외국인이 떠드는건 마찬가지였는데 여기가 역대급입이다 진짜. 둔감한 저도 잠들기 어려웠어요. 너무 늦어도, 너무 이른시간이어도 꼭 얘기하더라고요. 2박 3일 머물렀는데 2박을 다 외국인들 목소리 때문에 깼어요. 제발 직원분들께서 처음 오신 분들께 미리 주의를 주셨으면 좋겠네요. 문에 조용히하라고 공지되어 있어도 결국 떠들더라고요. 진짜 예의없어서 개빡쳤음. 시설도 직원분들 태도도 다 좋아서 제가 재이용 의사 있는데 외국분들 떠드는건 진짜 도를 넘네요.

좋았는데… 좋긴 좋았습니다 그런데 인터넷으로는 분명 싱글 침대3개가 있는 방으로 예약을 한건데 큰침대 하나 싱글침대 하나 있는 방을 받아서 친구들과 당황했지만 일단 썼어요 다른 건 뭐 다 좋았어요 그런데 너무 추웠어요….12월이였는데 방이 너무 추워서 밤에 잘때 다들 떨면서 잤어요 바닥이 화장실쪽만 따뜻하고 반대쪽 구석은 냉기 그자체…그리고 바깥 소음에 그대로 노출 되는 느낌 친구들 다 시끄러워서 잘 못잤다고 해요…

갓성비 환기가 원활히 되지는 않는 것 같았지만 가성비 있고 만족합니다!! 가성비 있는 도미토리 룸 이용했는데 조식까지 먹을 수 있어서 아주 좋았어요

정말 깔끔하고 따뜻한 숙소였습니다. 친구들이랑 간 여행에서 1박 지냈습니다. 직원분들 친절하시고 주변에 마트있어서 필요한것 다 구할수 있었어요. 아침 조식도 따뜻한 커피와 토스트로 해결할수있어 굉장히 만족했습니다. 따뜻한샤워,깨끗한 침구! 가성비 좋아요.추천합니다.

잘 쉬었습니다 한국인은 거의 없고 외국인들이 많더라구요 같은 도미토리 중국인들이 핸드폰 무음도 안하고 밤에도 계속 떠들어서 자기 전까지 거슬렸지만 저는 잠귀가 어두워서 그럭저럭 괜찮았고 게스트하우스의 문제는 아니니까요.. 주인 및 매니저?로 보이는 분들은 모두 친절하셨고 에어컨도 빵빵했고 도미토리랑 침구도 깨끗했습니다 도미토리 기준 화장실이 공용으로 밖에 있는데 크고 깨끗해서 좋았어요 조식은 삶은달걀, 토스트, 버터, 딸기잼, 시리얼, 주스, 커피 이렇게 있어서 그냥 저렴한 게하 기본 정도였어요~ 다음에 근처 갈 일 있으면 또 갈 것 같네요

만족 방음이 너무 안되요ㅜ 외국인분들이 많은건 좋은데..옆방 일본분들 밤12시45분에 들어오면서 문꽝!소리에 잠이 깼어요. 다른방 한국인손님?이 문열고 주의를 주시더군요. 그뒤로 새벽 2시가 넘어서까지 그일본분들 복도를 왔다갔다 방에서 큰소리 웃고 떠드는소리…복도 너머 다른방에는 중국분들이었나봐요. 웃고 떠드는소리 그소음에 미쳐버리는줄 알았습니다!! 체크인할때 분명히 주의사항이나 등등 안내해주시던데…직원분들 영어도 잘하시던데..그외국인분들은 그설명 다 들으시고도 너무 매너가 없더라고요ㅜ 차라리 돈좀 더내고 좋은숙소 묵을껄…후회했네요.. 그리고 2인객실 예약했는데 2인(초등학생) 둘이 자기에는 침대가 너무 작아요. 위치도 좋고 직원분들 굉장히 친절합니다. 전반적으로 보여지는 시설은 좋아요

숙박은 못했어용ㅋㅋ 가격때문에 급하게 잡았는데ㅋㅋ 예상치못하게 다른 곳에서 자게 돼서 실제로 숙박은 못했어요 그래도 저렴했어서 손해보는 느낌은 아니었네요

강력 추천 없음 명동역에서 가깝고 공동공간이 훌륭하며 직원들이 친절합니다. 도미토리 침대가 삐걱거리는 철로된게 아니고 커텐도있어 좋았습니다

전반적으론 5점만점 3.5 점 입니다. 3가지 장점 & 1가지 단점 1.장점: 위치 – 명동역에서 매우 가깝고 찾기 좋고 위치상 좋은 곳에 속함 2.장점:직원분들이 친절 하심 3.장점:조식이 나쁘지 않음 (우유,주스,커피,식빵,포스트,계란) 1.단점:방과방의소음(방음이 심하게 안됨-타방 화장실 물 내리는 소음&건물안/밖의소음) 그래도 심야에는 다들 자고 골목길의 다른 곳들은 역시 게스트하우스 인지라 심야에 잠드신다면 문제없을듯 함. 만약 다시 숙소가 필요할 경우 재 방문 의사 있습니다.

형편없음 여인숙 느낌 윗층 ,옆층 벽간ㅡ층간소음 최악 주차가능 이라 기입되어 있어나 1일 2만원 추가요금 발생 미고지 난방조절 안되어 수면이 어려울 정도 웬만하면 모텔이 더 나음 남산 근처라 교통은 좋았음

굿 아주 깔끔하고 교통편도 좋았습니다

1박 잘했어요 도미토리 룸 안에서 외국인 여행자들끼리의 정보를 공유하기때문에 이른 저녁에 숙소에 돌아와 쉬고 싶을때 룸 안에서 떠드는 분들 목소리에 잠을 못 잘수 있으니 좀 이른 시간부터 쉬고 싶다면 적절치 않을둣해요. 1박 잠만 자면 돼서 호텔로 안가고 다인실 도미토리로 가봤습니다 여성 전용 룸이고 침구도 깨끗하고 샤워 수압도 따뜻한 물도 잘 나와요. 샴프림스바디워시 수건 2장, 슬리퍼, 드라이어기까지 완비돼 있어 좋습니다. 조식까지 포함돼 있고 락커도 커서 짐 보관도 용이해요.(여행 캐리어 큰거는 안들어가요) 이 모든걸 고려해서 보면 평일 요금 가성비가 너무 좋아요! 저녁엔 더울만큼 히터가 나와요. 침대 옆 조그만 간이 책상을 내릴 수 있어서 테블릿 두기에 좋았어요.

이용했던 게스트 하우스 중 최악 잠깐 외국에 살다가 한국에 들어오면서 머무를 숙소가 필요 했습니다. 여행할때 게스트 하우스를 자주 이용 했던터라 한국에서 후기를 참고 하여 미스코리아 게스트 하우스를 이용했습니다. 일단 도미토리 방은 남,여 1개씩 있는 것 같았습니다. 방안에는 창문이 없고 지하에 매우 습했습니다. 에어컨과 환풍기 소리는 너무 컸으며, 외국인들이 밤새 이야기하고 전화하는 소리에 밤잠을 설쳤습니다. 아침식사는 그럭저럭 했습니다. 인원에 비해 화장실은 부족했으며 세탁서비스에 대한 안내는 없었습니다. 직원들끼리 소통이 안되며 택배를 시켰으나, 찾는데 오래 걸렸습니다. 화장실은 역시 깔끔한 편은 아니였습니다. 또한 연장을 위해 따로 예약을 했을당시 직원들이 제 예약건을 확인 못하는척하는건지 제대로 찾아보지 않고 본인들 현장에서(사이트보다 비싸게) 하면 예약건 무료취소 해주겠다고 강요 했습니다. 솔직히 저는 다시 해야한다면 차라리 다른 게스트 하우스 갈 생각이며 위치도 생각보다 멀고 밤이되면 무섭습니다.

Clean and economic Room was a little small but I chose the cheapest room. It was clean and big enough for one person. I was very satisfied with the room.

만족스러웠습니당 침대가 딱딱 티슈(휴지),비누가 구비 되지 않은 점? 급하게 3일전 가족4명 잘 곳을 검색해서 미스코리아게하에 머물렀어요. 유명한 호텔에 가고싶어서ㅜ 뭔가 아쉬웠던 마음이 싹 가사 선택이었습니다. 우선 직원이 진짜 친절하고요. 숙소 위치도 진짜 좋아요. 청결도도 딱히 눈에 거슬리는 점이 없었어요. 다만 침대가 약간 딱딱하다는것 말고는 크게 불편한 점이 없었습니다. 3일간 잘 머물다 갑니다. 감사합니다 번창하시길 👍

매우 좋음 4인가족으로 숙소에 머물렀습니다. 밤 11시에 숙소 도착 안내 데스크에 사람이 없었는데 편지가 따로 있어 카드 들고 불편함 없이 체크인 할 수 있었고 4층 방으로 이동, 입구에 신발장이 없어 수납함에 있는 봉지를 꺼내 가족 신발을 방안에 보관했습니다. ^^; (다음날 아침에 보니 3층 현관에 신발장이 있더라구요. 저희가 도착한 시간이 너무 늦은 시간이라 물어 볼곳이 없었네요) 침실에 수건 8개가 준비 되어 있었고 각실에 화장실 겸 욕실이 거실을 지나 배정되어 있었어요.(비번따로부여) 이 부분은 조금 불편했지만 크게 나쁘진 않았습니다. 샴푸 바디워시 핸드워시만 있어 다른 용품은 따로 챙겨가야하구요. 욕실안에 갈아입을 옷을 두는 선반이 따로 있었으면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 그리고 샤워파티션이나 부스가 없어 씻을때 변기쪽으로 물이 안튀게 조심히 씻어야 겠더라구요. 그리고 소음이 있어 저녁시간에는 서로 조심해야겠다는 생각을 했습니다. 냉장고는 있으나 비어있습니다. 숙소에서 마실 물 및 음료수는 따로 준비해 가야하구요. 아침 8시부터 11시까지 3층 주방에서 시리얼과 토스트 커피 차 제공되어 간단하게 아침 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. (셀프) 3층 4층은 가족단위 여행객이 머무는 숙소로 보여졌고 1층 2층은 규모가 작은방 같았습니다. 오래된 건물 리모델링해 숙소로 제공하는 곳임을 감안하시면 좋을 것 같아요. 가족단위 알뜰 서울여행 계획이시라면 추천합니다.

Not good enough in summer Actually, room condition was good. Clean. But air-conditioner doesn’t work well. If you don’t move at all, it could be a little bit cool or when you sleep too. But once you move, you would sweat. 🙁 I stayed there for a few days during hot summer season in Korea. Because of that condition i changed a room. However it was not cool enough. I hope it works well now. If it’s not hot season, room is good. But you had better not expect about free breakfast. There’re only bread, jam and some beverages. No eggs, no cheese. Good price, not good service. Expensive room, good service. I could know about Guest house this time.

가성비 좋고 만족합니다. 라운지에 대걸레가 널부러져 있거나 화장실 바닥이 뚫려있는등 뭔가 청소/정비를 하다 만 느낌이 있기는 했다. 그것외엔 딱히 불만이 없다. 전체적으로 가성비가 좋다. 침구가 안락하고 시설이 깨끗했다. 직원도 친절히 안내해줬으며 요구사항도 들어주었고, 큰 불만없이 잘 보냈다. 화장실은 각각 칸이 넓어서 머리감거나 샤워하기에도 편해보였다. 그리고 이건 진짜 별거아니긴하지만 개인적으로 좋았던건데, 숙소안쪽의 전등밝기를 조절할수있다는게 정말 마음에 들었다. 다음에 묵을숙소가 필요할때 재방문할 의사 있다.

보통 겉에는 되게 깔끔해보이는데 샤워실에 물이 너무 차갑거나 뜨겁고 그래서 불편했어요ㅠ 객실은 깨끗하고 조용한데 홀이 외국인들많아서 시끄러워요

최고 서울 도심에서는 많은 인원이 다같이 숙박할곳이 마땅치않았는데 좋았어요 ㅎㅎ

Recommended Place To Stay In Myeongdong! It’s close to subways and many shops and restaurants around, you can buy stuffs when you need it. The place is clean, the wifi is fast, spacious bathroom and they provides simple yet very fulfilling breakfast to start the morning. The staffs are all very helpful and kind, they’re always ready to answer questions about facilities in the hostel, and give guidances about nearby attractions. I enjoyed my stay here and would love to stay here again in the future. Very recommended! ♥️

별로에요ㅜㅜ 아무리싸도 12명이쓰는데 환기시스템이없어서 너무힘들었어요ㅜㅜ창문도없고..여러사람이 모이니 냄새장난없음ㅜㅜ 조식은 맛있었어요

I Will Definitely Be Back! Despite the overflow of clean towels to use, they were so small. They were more of face towels instead of bath towels that you could wrap around your whole body. Sometimes, there is this sweaty smell coming when you get inside a bathroom stall. One time, I think a staff member was getting impatient with me asking for specific directions and opinions on how to get to a number of destinations that he just told me to install the Naver map app. I already had that app on my phone but sometimes, directions are confusing for me when I read them off the app so I prefer asking local staff who may know shortcuts or hacks, etc. The location was perfect since it gave me access to art galleries, street food, cinemas, malls, the subway, stores, etc. The staff were absolutely helpful and friendly. I loved that there was basic breakfast served every morning. The beds are big enough and had sockets accommodating international types of plugs. The lobby was brightly lit. I love that you could refill your water bottle with either cold or hot water any time of the day. I felt safe knowing that my locker, our room door and the main entrance were all password-encrypted for only guests to access. I also appreciated the fact that they already had shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and hair dryers for all guests to use. They offer laundry service for only 10,000 KRW per standard basket size. They said when you give your laundry before 11 AM, you’d get the clean ones back by evening. Buuut they finished doing my laundry in two hours or so! I love how efficient they are. The staff are also easy to talk to whether you be asking for help or just want a quick friendly chat.

Decent place to stay The bathroom is too simple with no physical separation between shower and toilet. The bedroom was ok but the noise from close AC machines was loud enough to hear it even with windows closed. The mattress is really bad The location and the breakfast room. The staff was also very kind letting us do the check in 30 minutes before the check in time

위생이….. 들어가자마자 굉장히 이상한 냄새남 꿉꿉한데 그 위에 페브리즈 뿌린 느낌 여자 도미토리 화장실이 홀 건너에 있는데 그 홀에 12시쯤까지 외국인 가족 여행객이 계속 있었음 겉으론 멀쩡해보이는데 침구랑 닿는 부분이 따갑고 간지러워서 잠옷 위에 외출복 긴거 입고잠 싸서 예약한 건데 결론적으로 피부과 가서 가격 매리트도 없어짐 이외에 소음부분도 있어서 잠도 잘 못들었고 한 4시간 정도 잤으나 10번 이상 깬듯 새벽 4시 40분에 일어났고 더이상 못있겠어서 그냥 나와서 편의점 가서 버팀 한국인은 비추 외국인 위주 호스텔 같고 어지간하면 잘 자는 편이나 버틸수 있는 수준이 아니었음

Great Hostel in Myeongdong The towels are small, but thank you for providing them in general. This stay was better than I thought! The staff is so friendly! The location is fantastic. The bed is comfortable (I stayed in a 6-bed dorm). They have lockers where you can put all your stuff in securely. They also provide slippers for when you go to use the bathroom or just walk around the room. The bathrooms were way cleaner than expected and the water pressure was good! Don’t forget to check out the rooftop – it’s quite lovely during the day and night time.

Cozy and Comfy The food court serves breakfast to all guests, and getting to the restrooms from a dorm room requires passing through the reception area, lounge, and food court. Although there were many mosquitoes there, I enjoyed the rooftop and fallen love with the view. Location was excellent. The subway and tourist attractions are very nearby. So, to get to everywhere by subway, you just need to walk for 2 minutes. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful(especially Daniel☺️). The public areas were serene. My room was spotless and had a wonderful scent. The mattress, blanket, and pillow were all comfortable. I arrived late on the first day to check in, but self-check in was available. Because of this, everything was simple.

OYO 루프탑 호스텔 (OYO Rooftop Hostel)

저렴한 가격에 남산 루프탑뷰에서 바베큐를! 요즘 코로나 때문에 외국인들이 못와서 그런지 오히려 서울 중심부에 있는 좋은 숙소들이 가격이 저렴해지는 것 같아요. 방역을 더 철저하게 하니 벌레 걱정도 없고 방도 넓고 쾌적하게 너무 잘 이용했습니다. 바베큐는 주변에 대형마트가 없다보니 고기 구하기가 좀 힘들었는데 쓱배송 같은거 미리 알아보시고 이용하시면 좋을거 같네요. 고기 말고는 근처에 10층짜리 다이소가 있어서 장보는데 전혀 불편함 없었습니다. 친구들과 좋은 추억 남기고 갑니다~

형편없음 사진과 너무 달라 실망이 컸습니다. 숙소안에 시설이 모두 낡았고, 시끄러운 에어컨과 냄새나는 짙은 회색의 수건은 청결을 의심할수 밖에 없었고, 침구도 흰색인지, 때가 타서 회색이 된건지… 지내는 동안 찜찜했습니다. 샴푸와 비누도 너무 품질이 낮은 것을 썼고, 더운 날씨라 창문을 열일은 없었지만, 창밖이 너무 더러웠습니다. 30년만에 한국 방문한 교포로서 함께 투숙한 외국인들에게 챙피하고 미안했습니다. 그들도 나처럼 사진을 보고 선택했을텐데, 너무 사진과 달라 실망했을테니까요. 너무 관리를 안하는 곳입니다. 좋았던 점 없습니다.

너무 좋았어요!! 엄마랑 둘이서 1박했습니다. 2층침대 예약했는데 방이 아늑해서 너무 좋았어요. 장점: 명동역 3번출구에서 위로 도보10분정도라 찾기쉬웠음, 방이 너무 아늑해서 잠이 잘왔음, 이 가격에 방안에 화장실이 있고 수건제공에 조식까지! 직원분이 반갑게 인사해주심, 숙소주변 도보 2분안에 인터넷에 나오는 맛집이 있음(돈까스, 한식) 단점: 샤워기 물 온도 맞추기가 어려웠고 미니냉장고 소음있는데 이거는 방마다 차이가 있으니까요, 샴푸겸린스가 있는데 머리감으니까 뻑뻑해졌음,

방에 의자가 하나라도 있으면 좋겠지만. 두 사람이 같은 침대에 앉아야 해요.불편해요. 다 좋아요. 호스텔 위치가 좋아요. Myeondong street,Namsan park,Insadong street,Museum tea,Cheonggyecheon ,Gyeongbokgung Palace ,지하철,버스타는 곳이 등등이 가까워요.

Great location and staff. Rooms need some attention. The room did not match the pictures on Booking.com. On the pictures the rooms look very new and modern, but in our case the room was small, had some damages on the flooring and the window did not let light in properly. Besides the state of the room also the bathroom was not the bathroom that could be seen on the pictures. Our shower was not a proper shower, but a shower head connected to the sinks water tap and if you took a shower the whole sink and area got wet. We also had a strange smell in the room and mold in the bathroom, we think this is because of the bad ventilation. We were offered to have a change of room but unfortunately there were no other rooms available. It would be really good if the room got a renovation, regular cleaning and a proper ventialtion. For example having a mini-window or a ventilation hole. The staff at the hostel was super helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for the surrounding area. We noticed a strange smell in our room and actions were taken to try solving it immediately. The location of the hostel is very good, super central and close to many bars, restaurants and shops. The rooftop terrace is a nice location to relax and the lobby, where also the breakfast is served, looks very nice and works very inviting to stay and have a drink and conversation.

Great location! The room could do with improving a little – peeling paint, mould in bathroom tiles – just looks a bit tired. Also, the pillows were very flat and need replacing. As expected for a hostel. The room was clean and the building secure. Great location – you can walk into the heart of Myeongdong and up to the N Seoul Tower. Free breakfast in the morning was toast (with a few different spreads to pick from) and cereal. There’s a great vegan restaurant just down the street too. Shout out to David who works on reception in the evenings, he was really welcoming!

매우 좋음 8인실 사진에 테이블이 있었는데 실제로는 작은 테이블과 의자 하나있었음. 방바닥 면적이 침대 사이로 한사람씩 화장실 이동하는 공간정도밖에 없어 실망. 로비에서 간식 먹고 열시에 올라와 자면서 흥이 좀 깨져 아쉬웠음. 딱 잠만 자기엔 괜찮을 듯. 침대도 푹신하고 전반적으로 깨끗한 편. 직원도 친절함. 수건도 1인당 두장씩 줘서 좋았음. 명동역과 5분거리라 좋았음. 한달전 다른 호스텔 사용한 일행분 의견은 가격대비 별로라고 함. 내 기준에는 괜찮음.

awesome! There was a lot of mold on the air conditioner. There was no elevator and we had to go up to the 4th floor only by stairs. 2 suitcases weighing about 20 kg were carried by a parent and a child and it was impossible for us to put our luggage in the room. We asked the staff to take them with us and they gladly agreed.

Awesome staff! There was no elevator, no bidet in the toilet, room is dark no view. Rooftop closes at 10pm, maybe adjust to til midnight. Location is walkable to food, shopping, subway and namsan tower. Rooftop was nice on cool nights. Oyo staff customer service is incredibly awesome. David, Steven, JC and ladies were always pleasant and accommodating to all of our needs. The care and attention by staff definitely made the difference. Thank you for making us feel comfortable.

레드 게스트하우스 (Red Guesthouse)

편안하게 잘 쉬었습니다 부산에서 서울까지 한두달에 한번씩 이동하며 서울의 숙박시설을 검색해서 이용하는 나. 다섯살 여자 아이와 함께이용하는것이라 예민해지죠. 호텔, 레지던스…… 하룻밤인데 이건 아니다 싶은곳도있고, 사진은 믿을수 없고, 검색에 검색해서 광고성과 비방의 글을 파악해가며 선택을 했었습니다. 아고다는 해외숙박예약만 이용했었는데, ㅇㅇㅇ나우,ㅇㅇㅇ조이 에서 맘에드는게 없어서 게스트하우스로 넘어오게되었죠. 레드게스트하우스는 검색에 노출되는 정보가 없어서 여기 사기가 아닐까? 라는 생각도 했었습니다. 네이버,다음 지도 로드뷰에서 다른 상호가 보였었으니까요. 막상 당일날 갔는데 없으면 황당하잔아요. 당일에 가보니 그 위치에 있었으며 새로생긴곳이였습니다. 프론트도 매우친절했었구요. 객실(게스트 하우스는 방이라 해야겠지만 제주 롯데호텔 이외에 객실까지 안내해주는 곳은 없었기에)까지 안내해 주었습니다. TV, Wifi, 냉장고, 헤어드라이기, 생수3병, 샴푸, 바디로션, 비누, 치약, 수건이 준비되어있었구요 3층이였는데 수압이 훌륭했습니다. 단점은 옆방에서 솰라솰라 중국어? 소리가 TV를 작게 틀어놓은것처럼 들렸다는거…. 이건 개인차가 있고, 어느 숙박시설을 가도 풀어야할 숙제인듯싶네요. 그리고 자다가 너무건조해서 화장실 문을 열어놓고 잠을 잦습니다. 앗 그리고. 개별난방 그리고 에어컨도 있어요. 주인은 싫어라하겠지만 중앙 난방보다 개별난방이 짱!이죠. 아침은 포함가격이라 토스트에 우유주겠지 했는데, 우유는 없고 쥬스3종류에 삶은계란과 컵라면을 셀프로 먹을 수 있습니다. 아침에 일어나서 점심전까지 배부르기보다는 배고품을 잊기에 좋습니다. 아침에 11시경에 퇴실하는데 다른방 이불을 한움큼들고 어디론가 들고 가는 모습을 보니 상쾌한(?) 기분에 퇴실했네요. 3인실을 이용했는데요. 새로 오픈한지 얼마 안되서 그럴수도있겠지만 지금과같은 모습과 시설로 쭈욱 이용했으면 좋뎄습니다. 깔끔함, 편리한위치, 합당한가격

좋은숙소입니다^^ 3박 4일간 트리플룸에서 편안하게 잘 지냈습니다. 특히 어참식사로 토스트는 정말 맛있었습니다. 짐을 3층으로 옮길 수 있는 리프트가 있어서 편리했습니다. 마침 인근 지하철4호선 명동역에서 애니메이션센터까지 캐릭터축제가 열려서 구경거리도 많아서 좋았습니다. 그래서 저렴한 가격임에도 만족도가 아주 좋아서 좋은 숙소로 추천하고 싶숩니다.

잘 지내다 갑니다. 지하철에서 가까워서 좋았어요. 그런데 3층인데 엘베가 없어서 오르락 내리락이 좀 힘들었네요. 11시 넘어서 옆방의 얘기 소리가 들렸지만 그 정도는 감수해야죠. 샴푸와 바디워시. 일회용 치솔 및 치약. 수건이 제공됩니다. 수건은 필요 시 각 층 입구에서 더 가져올 수 있어요. 트리플은 방이 좀 작아서 캐리어 2개 펼치는게 쉽지는 않았어요.

매우 좋음 첫날 도착해 방이 너무 습해서 실망과 후회가 교차했으나 다음날 제습기를 주셔서 편하게 지냈습니다. 위치가 너무 좋고 방도 넓었습니다. 사장님도 츤데레같은 스타일(?)표정은 과묵하시지만 은근 친절하십니다.

최고 The room is large and comfortable for 6 of us( family room) , the towels were changed daily, the staff service and attitude are at the top, laundry service is only at w3000. Need to climb up a lil bit to go to the hotel but the way is not too steep. Breakfast has been provided with the choice of bread and egg but it’s enough for me with the price. Walking down in 5-7min and you will be able to reach Myeongdong Street. Convenience shops were also nearby the guesthouse.

Mixed emotions While the place is only a street across from the main Myeongdong shopping street, it was a hassle to get here. Once we reached the location, we had to call the staff to figure out that the they had put our name and door code on the door! There is no lift, only a dumbwaiter for luggage. So, another challenge for us before we reached our room on the second floor (third in Korean counting). So, if you are travelling with big bags (like us), I would not recommend this place. However, the room was clean and spacious. This place is walking distance to Namsan Tower, so that’s one advantage (beautiful walk in the evening). Nothing around this place so you have to go all the way to the end of the street to even access the supermarket. The street is literally dead at 0730pm. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this place. Choose as per your requirements and convenience.

우수 Many convenient supermarkets around. Money changer,Fast food outlets and Halal food restaurants are nearby. Night street markets just across the road. Strongly recommend this guesthouse.

good I was tired because there were so many hills. It was cheap. It was close to Myeongdong station. I want to stay again！！！！

Nice place to stay Over all, this is nice place to stay. The room is spacious and warm, breakfast always ready, there are washing machine, stove, and sinks in the common room. And the imo-nim is nice(only there in the morning I guess). The only minus side was the owner forgot to send me email how to self check-in. I arrived at 2pm, have to wait outside the building to call him for almost 30 minutes when it was freezing (-13⁰C). And he didn’t apologize.

무난함 Not the best for a guest house, we stayed 12 nights and never one day they came to clean my room. Towels were so small we had to but our own towels. Location is good but have to walk up the hill a little.

Very convenient and friendly owners Location is very convenient and the room was clean. The owner was so nice to me. Before I left the guesthouse with my luggage, the owner gave me a disposable raincoat as it was raining that time. The raincoat was not intended for give away. It just so happened that she had one. I don’t have an umbrella that time and have no intentions to buy one since the guesthouse was just around 3 minutes walk to the subway station. So, she gave me a raincoat so I wont get wet. 보통 Location and room is good. Breakfast is always same everyday,no variation at all. Its a self service hostel,you have to take all your bathroom needs in a certain place. Shower towel too small.Wash your own dishes and no cleaning of room for our 5 days stay .

욕실이 좁아서 불편 명동 위치는 좋으나 room과 욕실이 너무 작아서 편하게 쉬지 못했어요

Fantastic!! 1.샤워할때 샤워기를 꽂아놓는 홀더가 너무 높아 좀 불편해요(중간쯤 홀더가 하나 부착되었음 좋겠어요. 2.냉장고 위에 거울달린 선반 유닛이 하나 있으면 화장하거나 작은 물건들을 놓기 편할듯 해요 방이 넓진 않았지만, 딸 2과 지내기엔 충분했어요.방도 깨끗하고, 공동 키친과 세탁실 이용시 불편함이 전혀 없어서 참 좋았습니다. 그리고 깨끗하게 빨아서 정리된 수건들이 프론트 데스크 옆에 늘 쌓여있어 언제든지 필요하면 갖다 쓸수 있어요(화장실 롤휴지도요^^)

혼자서 여행할때 부담없이 머물다 갈수 있는곳 난방조절방법도 참고할수 있는 메모같은게 있었으면 첫날 더워서 잠을 설치는 일은 없었을텐데 아니면 직원 모두에게 교육을 해두시든지……. 그것말고는 정말 편하게 잘 지내다 왔습니다.

가격 대비 매우 만족합니다. 객실 간 방음은 괜찮은 편이지만, 복도 소리가 잘들리는 것이 조금 흠입니다. 밤늦게 숙소에 들어오거나 늦게 체크인하는 다른 손님들 때문에 잠이 깬 적이 있습니다. 저는 관광이 목적은 아니었지만, 명동에 위치해있어 서울 관광을 하기에는 최고의 위치라고 생각합니다. 객실과 화장실도 깔끔하고 좋았어요. 가격 대비 매우 만족합니다.

최고 N/A. The location was great, very close to Myeongdong. The room had working air conditioner and was clean. It wasn’t a very big room, but it suited my needs to sleep and take a shower. The front desk staff was also very helpful for finding the airport bus.

The hostel is just across the main myeongdong shopping street & it has cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, and money exchange nearby. The rooms are clean & tidy. The staff & hostel owner are really nice. They allowed us to cook our breakfast & launder our clothes in the washing machine. They accommodated all of our requests which is very kind of them 🥺 My family and I appreciate that the hostel owner is very nice & made us feel welcome in Korea. When we come back to Seoul, we will DEFINITELY return to Starria. Worth the money. Accessible location. Shops & cafes nearby. Near subway station & bus stop. Across myeongdong shopping street. Kind and nice staff. Clean & tidy rooms. Has a floor heat pad too.

Best Hostel! The owner is very friendly and very helpful since day 1 until the day that I go back, also the part time worker, everyone is perfect. Everything is very good..all the facilities is there, the vibe and the room is also very good (got AC/heater/Tv/hot/cold water/fridge/elevator). Its near to several halal food place also the location is waking distance to everything, really enjoy my stay here. Walk Distance to Everything Near Myeongdong station. You can walk to Myeongdong market just crossing the road. The owner is very kind and helpful. He speaks English quite good and willing to help. Best Location We had a comfortable stay at Starria. Staff were so accommodating and helpful. Location is great. It is near subway/bus station, N Seoul Tower, Myeongdong Catholic Cathedral and Myeongdong shopping center. There are many restaurants and stores outside the hostel so it is very convenient.

Friendly staff, great value for money Great location (near Myeongdong station, by the main street and not too far up the hill or requiring a climb). Friendly, proactive staff who contacted me to check on my arrival time and provided directions. Very clean – rooms are not serviced daily but upon request if staying longer than a week. Just enough space for a solo occupant of a twin bedroom with windows. The shower was squeezy and could have had more space to place toiletries or towels, but was adequate. Plenty of shops and cafes including Halal restaurants just across the road. Individual room wi-fi and even a TV with lots of news channels. Would stay here again.

Very clean and great location When deciding where to stay, I had read reviews that this place was clean. It was indeed very clean. The location is good, a little uphill but that is fine. No. 3 Exit of Myeondong Train Station has escalators. It helps that Myeondong Street Market is also near. Joon, the owner, is very helpful. Had contacted me via whatsapp to give directions and keycode to entrance of the hostel. I will remember his kindness of sending me to the airport train station (he had time as no more guests was checking-in). I hope his business picks up since Covid did have an impact.

Seoul U Trip I choose this place because of the location near to the subway, restaurant and convienience stores. For me the room size is good enough knowing it in Seoul and they have lift which makes it easier to carry my luggage.Facilities are basic, they don’t provide breakfast just coffee but one good thing they do allow you to to laundry and dryer for free. The manager Joon is always willing to help even though he practically do almost everything alone. I am glad I choose a place that offer good service, will surely come again if I happens to be in Seoul.

So amazing! Thank you very much. The toilet gets wet because of the shower, but to be true this is not a problem at all. Everything is perfect and you wont regret if you choose this place. The street is so beautiful with many restaurants, cafes, 7eleven, and you can go by foot to many places like the N Tower, the Myeongdong street, even the Deoksugung Palace (a nice walk). The room its perfect for 2 people, secure, and Joon and Joy will give you any kind of help that you need. It was perfect and i will come back for sure.

Excellent Place to stay. Nothing We are very much satisfied with the nice, and very clean place. All facilities are provided including toiletries, kitchen utensils, even with disposable slippers in the room, they even have steamers for clothes, washing machine, etc. The location was near all means of transportation and neighborhood very good restaurants. Very convenient location for travelers like us. It really exceeded my expectations. We will surely stay again in Starria hostel when we come back to Seoul and will recommend it to our friends and relatives who also plan to travel at South Korea. Thank you very much to the owner and to the Korean girl who wholehearted assisted us when we arrived.

최고 The room itself is comfortable for one person and maybe a small luggage. Anything more than that and it will be too cramped. The bed and pillow was so comfortable and spacious. I really appreciated the TV in the room even if there were only one or two channels that had english speaking shows. I was SO impressed at how clean the bathroom and whole facility was. I appreciated the universal power adapters which was SO helpful. The owner was super nice, friendly and accommodating of me. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back in the future! The location is also convenient to the subway station and at the heart of hongdae!

Clean and perfect location The room was small as expected but it was clean (and the guesthouse as a whole). The owner was very nice, approachable, and responsive. Few mins walk from the station, and a lot of stores and restos around but it was still quiet.

최고 I had a very great stay in Heima Guesthouse! The place is super clean and neat, it’s not that big but a perfect space for a solo traveler. Just a few steps to subway station and Hongdae hot spots. It feels so homey and safe. Chris is also very helpful and kind. Would recommend this place!

This hotel is affordable and very close from the subway station. The room is spacious and clean. Except the noise from upstairs such as footsteps or moving around chairs, it was quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. The convenient store is right next to it. Some cafes are open for 24 hours, so you could grab drinks and sandwiches.

전철역에서 가까워 주변 편의시설 이용 좋아요. 전철역에서 가까워 주변 상권이용이나 교통편이용이 매우 편리합니다. 젊은 친구들이 많이 오는 지역이라 소음 예상했는데 위층에서 걸음이나 의자끄는 소리외에는 조용한 편이었습니다. 침구도 보기엔 깔끔했습니다. 바닥에 머리카락이 보이긴 했지만 제 것일수도 있으니 이해합니다. 기본룸 사용했고 TV나 게임을 즐기는 편이 아니라서 뉴스 잘 봤습니다. 7층에 묵었는데 수압도 나쁘지 않았습니다. 물도 4병이고 타월도 4장이라 넉넉했습니다. 다만 대실 시간 후 체크인이 가능해서 주말엔 11시 체크인 점을 고려하세요.

A hotel in the bustling love motel street. Nice and spacious room but despite asking for a non smoking room, it seems both rooms se had smelt like smoking rooms. This was very annoying as my husband and I are not smokers. The hotel offered a change of room after the weekend which was very helpful however the issue was the same if anything worse. Rooms continuosly smelt like cigarettes (probabably from neighbouring rooms or other floors in the building). The scent came through vents in the bathrooms and toilets throughout the whole stay despite opening windows and ventilating.

交通の弁が良い！ この度、ホテル地宅で用事があった為 予約いたしました。 とても綺麗なホテルで、清潔感もあり 駅からもすぐ近く、目の前にバス停もある為 とても便利でした！近くに映画館市場やご飯屋さんもあるのでとても便利です。 スタッフの方も替えのタオルなどすぐに用意してくださって良かったです。 ひとつだけ、普通のラグジュアリー、シティホテルではない事だけ参考までに…。

Unfortunately non-smoking does not mean non-smoking I was looking forward to staying at this hotel as from the photos the room looked nicely furnished, large and clean. Although a little far from the centre of Seoul it is connected via a nearby metro station. The problem was I booked a non-smoking room, but the room and the hotel smells of cigarettes which for a non-smoker is a deal breaker. When I asked about this the staff apologized but said that despite putting up signs around the hotel asking guests not to smoke, they do it anyway. They tried to offer a second room but it was the same problem. It could be something to do with the clientele for this hotel as I didn’t have this problem in most other places I stayed while in Korea (may have been lucky!). For the price and for a confirmed non-smoking booking it makes it difficult to recommend to non-smokers at least. It’s a shame because it has many other good things going for it.

가격대비 비추 주말포함 3박에 30만원 넘게 결재했으나 호텔 아니고 모텔인데 연식이 오래되서 전반적으로 노후하고 칙칙함. 그냥 싸구려 모텔느낌, 다만 직원은 친절한 편이고 위치는 훌륭함. 객실에 샴푸등은 있으나 비누는 제공 안되며 타월은 오래써서 너덜너덜, 무료제공되는 팝콘은 상태 좋음

Not that good States it is a non smoking facility but checked into the room and it stunk of smoke and had an ashtray in the room. Asked to change rooms but they said they had no rooms and asked me to turn on the air purifier. The smell gave me a headache for two days. The staff were very friendly but didn’t speak English. Free water was good.

真的不建議 首先、很難找、自己找了很久也找不到、要不是當地韓國人我們都找不到，找到了後竟然就是自己一早找到的地方、但是原來路牌名字不一樣數字不一樣，連基本的Jenny House名字也看不到！當地人幫我們找到之後也覺得奇怪還要致電屋主才知道是那裏！在說、屋裏面要的基本插頭風筒是都有、但整間屋真的很簡陋、毛巾浴巾都很污糟，像是用了很多次、幸好自己有帶，看圖片有的沖涼液身體乳全部都沒有、只有一支洗頭水護髮素在、完全圖片不符！床的被單也是簿簿的一張、衣櫃發現有多一張被、但竟然要再收費才能用？存放行李也只是叫你放在屋外門口、自己在韓國住了這麼多次民宿，這是最差的一個經驗！

地點極佳 地點超棒，剛好在環狀線上，去哪都很便利。房間設施：熱水 暖氣 WiFi 一應俱全

최악, 최악도 아까운 숙소 정말 최악의 숙소였습니다. 끔찍할 정도의 담배냄새. 코가 안 좋아서 코 치료를 받는 중인데 코를 찌르는 담배냄새 덕에 코 상태는 더 악화됐네요. 금연숙소인데 어떻게 이럴 수가 있는거죠. 객실 뿐만 아니라 같은 층 로비, 계단 마저 담배냄새가 가득했습니다. 관리자는 금연숙소라고 기재해두고 도대체 무엇을 하는건가요. 또한, 수건에는 얼룩이 있었으며 비치되어 있는 세면도구(샴프, 바디워시 등)에는 곰팡이가 피어있었습니다. 다시는 가고 싶지 않은 숙소네요.

담배냄새가쩌들어서 어질어질 진짜 다음날 일찍스케쥴있어서 잡은곳인데 세상에나 일찍갔었어도 들어가서 쉬고싶지않을만큼의 룸컨디션이였어요 군데군데 먼지에 일단 다떠나서 금연실요구했는데 세상그렇게 숙박업소가 담배에 찌든방은 처음이였네요 그리고 프론트보시는분 남자분이 성형을 하셨으면 쉬시는게…. 진짜 얼굴 붓기안빠져서 피딱지테이프 덕지덕지바르시고 손님맞이는 아닌거같아요… 더욱이 12시넘어 체크인했는데 무서워혼났어요 다시는 이용하고싶지않은곳이예요.

좁고 담배냄새 조금, 그러나 깔끔하고 어메너티가 훌륭 좁지만 깔끔하고 심플한 내부가 맘에 드는 곳이었어요. 음습한 느낌이 아니라 좋았는데 실내가 너무 좁고 건조해서 답답한 느낌은 있었어요. 어메너티는 정말 훌륭했어요. 향이 너무 좋고 산뜻했던 곳이에요

適合行李不多的旅遊 房間比起預想的小很多，但該有的化妝水.乳液.牙刷這些消耗品也都有提供，且電視也有netfilx，如果是行李不太多的話，應該可以在這邊得到很好的休息，覺得不錯~
